Bike the Golden Gate Bridge and Visit Sonoma Wine Country on a Single Tour!
Explore the City at Your Own Pace on a Luxury E-Bike
Riding an e-bike across the Golden Gate Bridge is a favorite San Francisco activity among locals and tourists alike! Whether you cycle through staggering views of the bay, mystical scenery provided by a dense bridge fog, or a little bit of both, biking the bridge is consistently considered a San Francisco must-do.
Thanks to the motor assist on our Rad Power e-bikes, biking the bridge is as easy as it gets. This self-guided part of the day is a chance to break away from a guided tour without ever breaking a sweat. While crossing the Golden Gate Bridge is the main event, we also recommend exploring the surrounding areas like Fisherman’s Wharf, Aquatic Park, Fort Point, and the Palace of Fine Arts. There is no shortage of lovely breaks and photo opportunities.
If biking isn’t your speed and you would prefer to see the city from a minibus, check out our sister tour, Famous San Francisco City Tour + Wine Country. Whether you opt for a bike or a bus, we’ll all meet up for lunch in Sausalito.
Enjoy a Lunch and Exploration Break in Sausalito
Just across the bay from our energetic, bustling city lies the relaxing waterfront town of Sausalito. Once you reach this artistic paradise, you’ll spend some time enjoying a lunch break and soaking in the warmer weather that Sausalito usually provides. After that, it is off to the wine country on our intimate small-group minibus.
Escape to the Sonoma Wine Country
Visit two different luxury Sonoma wineries, and enjoy all of the amenities, scenery, and wine tastings they offer. The Sonoma Wine Country is one of the oldest wine regions in the state—even older than Napa! With over 60,000 acres of vineyards, Sonoma is a more affordable experience than Napa, and you don’t sacrifice an ounce of quality. Some of the wineries we visit include Viansa, Larson Family Winery, Gloria Ferrer, and Peter Cellars.
The perfect wine tour from San Francisco, we recommend this exhilarating bike ride and upscale vineyard adventure to anyone looking for something active with a touch of luxury mixed in.
Want to Add On Muir Woods to Your San Francisco and Wine Country Itinerary?
Planning to visit Muir Woods during your San Francisco trip? Muir Woods National Monument is the perfect nature escape just a stone’s throw away from the city, but it is notoriously hard to get there. Here’s your chance to skip the pricey ride shares and parking spot reservation logistics! When you book Bike the Bridge with Wine Country, you can reserve next-day private transportation to and from Muir Woods.
Please Note – Additional route details and information will be provided in your confirmation email, as well as in person the day of your tour. Our expert guides are excited to answer any of your questions and make recommendations for places to stop!
