Along your journey, your guide will share with you fascinating insights into the history and culture of San Francisco’s many unique neighborhoods. You’ll also get a chance to stop to see the Golden Gate Bridge and take memorable photos to bring home with you as keepsakes of the trip.

What is the itinerary?

8:00-9:00 am: Pick-ups and then driving to Wine Country, with a photo stop at the Golden Gate Bridge on the way

10:15-11:15 am: First Wine Tasting at Peter Cellars

11:30-12:30 pm: Second Wine Tasting at Homewood Winery

1:00-2:00 pm: Free time to spend at Oxbow Public Market or Sonoma Square for lunch

2:30-3:30 pm: Third Wine Tasting at Ru Vango Winery

4:45-5:45 pm: Drop-offs in San Francisco

Where is the meeting point?

Pick-ups are included from most San Francisco hotels and begin at 8:00 am. Residential pick-ups are also available, limited to certain neighborhoods. You will have a 15 minute pick-up window.

If you are outside of our pick-up zone or coming into the area via public transportation, we arrange pick-up and drop-off at a public meeting location: Parc 55 Hotel at 55 Cyril Magnin Street at 8:15am.

Please note, we do not pick up from the airport or airport hotels.

Where is the drop-off location?

We will drop you off at the same location you were picked up. Drop-offs occur between 4:45-5:45 pm.

What is included on the tour?

Your tour includes all of the following:

  • A visit to and tastings at three boutique wineries (two in Sonoma and one in Napa)
  • All tasting fees are included in the price, as well as a stop at either Oxbow Public Market or Sonoma Square, which has many great options – including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free – for lunch (the price of lunch is not included)
  • Friendly live narration from your guide about San Francisco’s neighborhoods and history
  • A stop for photos of the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Pick-up and drop-off
  • Complimentary water, mints, gum, and suntan lotion

What is not included on the tour?

Gratuity for your guide is not included but is greatly appreciated. The price of lunch is not included, but you will have ample time and options to choose from for lunch at Oxbow Public Market.

How long is the tour?

The tour officially begins at 9:00 am, and drop-offs occur between 4:45-5:45 pm.

What should I bring with me?

Make sure to bring your valid ID. The legal drinking age in the United States is 21 years. Additionally, we recommend wearing layers, as well as bringing a hat, shorts, and sunglasses.

Should we eat breakfast before the tour?

Yes! Remember to have a filling breakfast before joining the tour, as there aren’t any stops for food or coffee on the way to Wine Country.

Can I purchase bottles of wine on the tour?

Absolutely! Feel free to purchase wine from any of the fantastic wineries we visit. Our vehicles can accommodate your purchases or, alternatively, the wineries can ship your bottles to your home.

Can we leave our driver a tip?

Tips are very much appreciated. It is customary to offer a gift of 15-20% for your guide if you had a great day on your tour!

What does the bus look like?

What is the maximum group size?

The bus can accommodate a maximum of 14 passengers.

Can we eat and drink on the bus?

Yes, you may eat and drink on the bus. All we ask is that you drink responsibly and avoid bringing red wine.
