A SAN FRANCISCO CITY TOUR YOU CAN TASTE
Why choose between a sightseeing tour and a food tour when you can do both?
The Lombard Leap Food Tour combines some of San Francisco’s most famous landmarks with two neighborhoods that have helped define the city’s food and culture.
You’ll ride through the city with a local guide, stop for incredible views, drive down the famous Crooked Street all while getting to experience North Beach pizza and Chinatown dim sum along the way.
This isn’t a three-hour restaurant meal, it’s a fast-moving, fun San Francisco sightseeing experience with great local food built into the route.
- NORTH BEACH “Little Italy” PIZZA
No visit to North Beach is complete without pizza.
We’ll stop in the heart of San Francisco’s historic Italian neighborhood for a local slice while your guide shares the stories behind North Beach, its Italian roots, cafés, restaurants and colorful San Francisco history.
Our pizza partner may vary between some of our favorite North Beach pizza shops depending on availability.
A vegetarian pizza option is available with advance notice. - CHINATOWN DIM SUM
Experience one of San Francisco’s most historic and colorful neighborhoods through its food.
We’ll make a stop in Chinatown where each guest will enjoy approximately two to three dim sum items.
This is not a long formal restaurant meal. The stop is designed to give you a real taste of Chinatown while keeping the tour moving.
Between the pizza and dim sum portions, guests should expect enough food to replace lunch. - A THIRD LOCAL TREAT
Every tour also includes a third food or drink item, adding a little surprise to the experience.
Depending on the day, this may be a fresh pastry served on board, a specialty local drink with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, or another delicious item from one of our neighborhood partners.
The third tasting may change from tour to tour, giving guests something different to enjoy along the way.

FOOD AND DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
A vegetarian option can be accommodated with advance notice.
Because our restaurant partners operate shared kitchens and many dim sum dishes contain meat, seafood, gluten and other common allergens, we cannot guarantee accommodations for all dietary restrictions or severe food allergies.
Please contact us before booking if you have questions about dietary needs.
SMALL GROUP EXPERIENCE
This tour is limited to a maximum of 10 guests.
Keeping the group small means less waiting around, easier restaurant stops and a more personal experience with your guide.
The public tour requires a minimum of four guests to operate.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
San Francisco weather can change quickly.
This experience is normally operated in one of our open-air vehicles, so we strongly recommend bringing an extra layer even on a sunny day.
In unusually bad weather, we may choose to operate the tour in an enclosed vehicle.
