Choose one of our 7-speed bikes, or if you prefer something with a little more kick, we have electric bike rentals ready for you! Our bikes are professionally-maintained and safety-checked before every tour.

5:00 PM – Return to Fisherman’s Wharf.

At the end of our amazing adventure, we drop you off at a convenient location in Fisherman’s Wharf.

Our flexible pickup times (9:15-10:30 AM) allow you plenty of time to cross the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, without feeling rushed prior to meeting the shuttle to Muir Woods.

On average, it takes roughly 2 hours, biking at a very leisurely pace (i.e. stopping along the route for photos and enjoying the different neighborhoods) to bike from our bike shop to Sausalito.

The route is 9 miles and has 2 hills. Overall this is a “beginner/intermediate” bike ride, suitable for almost anyone young or old. We do recommend being at least 12 years old. For the electric bikes we offer, we recommend being at least 16.

We recommend spending 60-90 minutes in Sausalito. Therefore, even if you pick up your bike at 10:30 AM, and take the full 2 hours to ride to Sausalito, you still have over 60 minutes for lunch!

  • Highlight of our San Francisco trip! "Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the bike ride across the Golden Gate bridge, and were in awe of the redwoods at Muir Woods. Great directions from Dylan's tours, and it was an awesome way to see Muir Woods since we didn't have a car. Plenty of time in Sausalito to grab lunch and enjoy the waterfront, plus an easy to find meeting point to catch the shuttle. Great local family-owned business that I would highly recommend!”

  • Best Of Both! "The independence I had was great. The company gave us the bike and a map for getting to the bridge and then to Sausalito . I was given clear directions for dropping off the bike and meeting the shuttle to Muir Woods, where I was able to enjoy a peaceful lunch on the waterfront. Muir Woods was breathtaking and I didn’t have to worry about organizing a car up myself. Thank you Dylan’s for providing this tour!”

The map they provided was very easy to follow and it was great that the bike was in great shape. Had plenty of time to stroll around Sausalito and have some lunch before heading off to Muir Woods. Our driver and guide was a safe and alert driver, I’m thankful I didn’t have to drive myself! - Thank you Dylan's tours for an amazing experience!"
