The Powell–Hyde Cable Car is the most iconic and direct route — it stops right at the top of the crooked block. If you’re riding Muni buses, the 30, 45 and 8 lines drop you a few blocks away. The walk is uphill if you’re coming from the waterfront, so approaching from Hyde Street gives you the easiest arrival without much climbing.
