If you are looking to book Alcatraz tickets for July-December 2018, please fill out the link below and we will email you the day we receive our tickets:

We’ll meet you outside Fisherman’s Wharf at your chosen tour time. Our guide will be wearing a Dylan’s Tours shirt to help you spot them easily.

After a brief roll call, we’ll board the bus and travel to our first stop. Over the next 7 hours you’ll be treated to stories about the neighborhoods, diversity, and geography of the area. We will exit the bus at several stops for photo opportunities and exploration, enjoying lunch in Sausalito and then spending over an hour in beautiful Muir Woods Redwood National Monument.

In the afternoon you will be dropped off at Pier 33 for the official Alcatraz audio tour, returning to Pier 33 at approximately 6PM. This is where the tour will officially end.

If you have any problems, just give us a call at (415) 932-6993.

Here are the places we will explore (photo stops noted by *):

Escape the tourist areas as our local guides share the history and adventure of this amazing city.

Used as a federal prison between 1933-1966, Alcatraz housed some of the most dangerous criminals of the time, including Al Capone, James "Whitey" Bulger and George "Machine Gun" Kelly. Featuring unbelievable views of the San Francisco peninsula, a visit to the island is essential when in town.

Muir Woods*

Muir Woods National Monument is home to some of the oldest and most beautiful trees in the world. Features gorgeous walking trails and striking scenery.

Fisherman's Wharf

One of San Francisco's most popular destinations - from beautiful old shipyards, to Boudin's Bakery and the smell of fresh clam chowder, and of course, the sea lions of Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf has it all.

Fort Point*

Located just beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Point gives you a front row seat to the San Francisco Bay. This former military fortification was used during both the Civil War and World War II.

Golden Gate Bridge

Declared "one of the 10 wonders of the modern world," the Golden Gate Bridge not only one of the most recognized symbols of San Francisco, but one of the most photographed sites in

Pacific Heights*

Offering one of the most scenic outlooks in all of Northern California, Pacific Heights is home to Billionaire's Row, featuring the estates of politicians, tech titans and other San Francisco celebrities (includes Mrs. Doubtfire house!)

Located just across the Golden Gate Bridge, this artistic enclave has the setting and beauty of a european mediterranean town. Enjoy your lunch on the San Francisco Bay!

Boasting the largest Chinatown in the United States, this 24-block mecca is bustling with energy, amazing food, and unique and colorful shops that give this area its charm.

North Beach

Voted as one of the USA's "ten great neighborhoods", North Beach is best known as the home of Little Italy. From delicious restaurants to authentic sidewalk cafes and bakeries, you will feel the charm of San Francisco as soon as you arrive.

Have questions? Here's the most frequently asked.

1. Small Groups:
With Dylan’s, you aren’t just a number. Our minibuses are the perfect size to make sure you are comfortable, well looked-after, and are having FUN!

2. Local Guides:
Each of our tour guides are Bay Area locals who love their city. From in-depth knowledge of SF to the best restaurant recommendations, they are energetic and invested in making each tour special.

3. Great Value
Our minibus tours are priced to give our guests a tour of the best neighborhoods in San Francisco and over an hour in Muir Woods. We like to think of it as 2 tours in 1!

4. 100% Refund Guarantee:
Change of plans? Feeling under the weather? We are happy to refund your entire tour with 24 hours advance notice.

5. Independently Owned:
We aren’t one of the big bus companies, and it shows. Dylan’s is owned and operated by San Francisco native Dylan David.

6. Your Experience is our Top Priority:
From our convenient meeting location to each stop on your tour, our goal is to make your tour fun and enjoyable. We have thought of the small things so you don’t have to.

Our minibus tours pick-up at 2800 Hyde Street in Fisherman’s Wharf.

We can drop you off in Fisherman’s Wharf, Lombard Street, North Beach, or Chinatown.

Why don’t you provide hotel pick-ups:

We would love to pick everyone up from their hotel, but we find that having one convenient pick-up location in Fisherman’s Wharf  improves the quality of the tour.

Picking up 14 individuals before starting the tour would not be a pleasant experience for any of our guests, and sitting in traffic is not something we want you to start your tour off with.

Is there a parking garage near the starting point:

Yes, it is located at 500 Beach Street, a 5 minute walk away.

Dylan’s Famous Tour (6 hours) – Our most popular tour. Explores all of what San Francisco has to offer, includes a lunch stop in Sausalito, then over an hour spent in beautiful Muir Woods Redwood National Park. If you are in town for a few days and you want to get a nice overview of the city on your first day here, this is the tour we recommend!

A Day in the Bay Tour (9 hours) – Our official Alcatraz Tour. In the morning, head up to Muir Woods to get your day started off with the beautiful redwoods. Afterwards, you will enjoy lunch in the beautiful town of Sausalito. After coming back across the Golden Gate Bridge you will explore some of our favorite neighborhoods in San Francisco. You are then dropped at Pier 33 in the afternoon for the Alcatraz ferry and audio tour. We suggest this tour to those who only have 1 full day here in the city.

San Francisco and Sausalito Tour (2.5 hours) – This city tour covers all of our favorite highlights of San Francisco. From the Painted Ladies to Haight-Ashbury, you will see all of the iconic sights in just 2. 5 hours. The tour finishes across the Golden Gate Bridge in the beautiful town of Sausalito, where guests are encouraged to spend the afternoon and take the scenic ferry back to San Francisco.

Muir Woods:

Muir Woods National Monument is located 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge and is home to some of the oldest and tallest living trees in the world.

This popular destination is part of the United States National Park service and is considered to be one of the most peaceful destinations in the Bay Area. We consider it to be one of the top highlights of the Dylan’s Famous Tour and A Day in the Bay tours.

Located just across the Golden Gate Bridge, this artistic enclave has the setting and beauty of a european mediterranean town. For both our Dylan’s Famous and A Day in the Bay Tours, you will enjoy your lunch on the picturesque waterfront, enjoying views of the San Francisco Bay.
